Natural beauty, Wildlife, Lakes, Ski, the food and the fact that it is a Dark Sky Preserve.

Did you know Jasper is a Dark Sky Preserve?

In 2011, Jasper was designated as a Dark Sky Preserve by the Royal Astronomical Society in Canada, due to its limited light pollution that creates ideal conditions for dark sky viewing.

Another reason to visit Jasper.  Due to its limited light pollution, it has the perfect conditions for dark sky viewing.  (A Dark Sky Preserve as an area in which no artificial lighting is visible.)  Therefore the perfect stargazing location in Canada.
