If you are planning to travel, why not plan a fabulous trip for the whole family, for Easter?
Easter is a wonderful time to travel and there are many great destinations to consider.
(In no particular order and both religious places as well as some others.)
Rome, Italy: Rome is the center of the Catholic faith and Easter is an important time of year for Catholics. The city is full of religious significance and there are many beautiful churches to visit, including the Vatican. On Easter Sunday, the Pope delivers a special mass in St. Peter’s Square.
Jerusalem, Israel: For Christians, Jerusalem is an important destination as it is the birthplace of Christianity. Easter is a particularly special time in Jerusalem as it marks the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Visitors can attend special services at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which is believed to be the site of the crucifixion and tomb of Jesus.
Seville, Spain: Seville is famous for its Holy Week celebrations, which take place in the week leading up to Easter Sunday. The streets are filled with processions and religious icons, and there is a festive atmosphere throughout the city.
