At first glance it feels lively — beach clubs, palm trees, music drifting along the promenade. Then you wake up early, step outside before the crowds appear, and everything changes. The ocean lies flat and silver. A few locals walk their dogs. Café owners set out chairs in the soft morning light. It feels calm and real.

Hidden Cafés: Walk a block back from the promenade to find terraces where locals linger with coffee. It’s often the best spots to visit.
Market Day: Saturday markets near the harbor offer local fruit, pastries, and crafts. It you stay in a self catering apartment, this is a nice place to stock up on fresh produce. (…and maybe a few souvenirs.)

You won’t feel overwhelmed by size. You will feel energy — especially in the evenings — but it’s the kind of place where you can stroll from your hotel to the beach, grab dinner nearby, and never need a car.
It’s manageable, sunny, and designed for relaxing days by the sea.
