InsureMyTrip, a travel insurance comparison site, ranked 71 island destinations to find the top spots for a luxurious getaway. They looked at factors like hotel costs, beach quality, romantic attractions, and spa ratings.

The data was then standardized using a method called min-max normalization, which gives each island a score from 0 to 10.

1. Bali took the crown with a score of 9.3.
