I was forever looking for a quick and easy chocolate cake recipe until I discovered this one!
I love simplicity, but I also love receiving compliments when it comes to producing something from the kitchen. So, this easy chocolate cake recipe is a divine combination of both!
Before I continue, please accept my apologies for the photo! I was all set to decorate and style the cake beautifully for the photoshoot, but oh my word, this cake had not even cooled off properly, before the first slice was cut. And before you know it, my photo opportunity was gone!!

Bake for 45 minutes at 180°C.

And that’s it! A very tasty, super yummy, and super easy chocolate cake!
This cake tastes really good just the way it is. And guess what? I’ve served it as it is and everyone loved it! But hey, if you want to make it look a little fancier with just a tiny extra touch, I’ve got a couple of ideas for you. And the best part? It’s just as simple as baking the cake itself.
Spread a thin layer of caramel on top, and decorate with chocolate flakes. (Cadbury’s Flakes work wonders too!)
Decorate with chocolate icing.
