“This is an amazing hotel. From the moment we walked in, the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. It’s extremely cosy with the log fireplace in reception. Our room was great, we upgraded so our son could have his own space upstairs. We had a balcony overlooking the mountains and a view that never got boring. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The location is fantastic for skiing. The equipment room had heated boot dryers. The sauna can be reserved so you have private use. We used it twice and it was nice and clean, with a shower and towels. There is a small shop selling food next door and a ski rental shop, though you can buy your ski pass from reception. The free bus into town is across the road, although stops around 7pm. There is an off-road path down the hill into town from the hotel which takes about 20 minutes, although it is quite steep and icy in places (and unlit in some areas) so going back up would be a challenge if you have limited mobility or with children. We loved it and can’t wait to return..”

It sits just outside the center of the town, but not too far that you can’t take a comfortable walk to town. The location is great for skiing to your front door. And the accommodation has everything you need for a self-catering ski holiday.
