Jasper is an alpine town in the province of Alberta in Canada. Situated in the Jasper National Park, amidst the Canadian Rockies, Jasper is spectacular in natural beauty. The park is famous for its glacier-fed lakes, rivers, and beautiful forests. It is any nature photographers’ dream destination.
Here you will also find the impressive Mount Columbia, (an excellent ski location – 3747m ) the Maligne Canyon, and Lake (the lake is where you’ll find Spirit Island, a famous islet and photography spot). Wildlife includes Canada’s grizzly and black bears, elks, wolverines, bighorn sheep, and mountain goats.
If you’re looking for summer sunny days to explore and hike in nature, the best time to visit Jasper is between May and September. With August and September being the months that traditionally have the least rainy days.
This charming town with views of the mountains is definitely worth a visit. Furthermore, the Jasper National Park is definitely worth a visit.
