The Best of Zimbabwe | Travel-And-Home Travel Guide

Zimbabwe will capture your heart!

This beautiful country with its friendly people features in many news bulletins over the years for a variety of controversial subjects. However, there are zero controversies when it comes to its nature and exquisite scenery. My (Jany Adams) first experience was one of amazement over the sheer beauty of what Zimbabwe has on offer. And that includes its warm-hearted people.

How to get to Zimbabwe

If you’re from outside South Africa, you need to fly into Oliver Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa. Then, book your flight from Johannesburg to Harare, the capital city of Zimbabwe.

When you join a tour, you’re likely to meet up in Harare and again end in Harare. However, if you go solo, you may have to make additional flight bookings. For example, if you want to go to Victoria falls, you need to book a flight to Victoria Falls Airport (VFA). Victoria Falls Airport sits about 18 km (11 m) from Victoria Falls.
