Struisbaai | L'Agulhas - Best Places To Stay

Struisbaai, a delightful gem in South Africa’s Western Cape, is where endless white sand beaches meet the charm of a small fishing town. Just a stone’s throw from Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa, Struisbaai is known for its azure waters, tranquil atmosphere, and the captivating sight of colorful fishing boats gently bobbing in the harbor.

Take a stroll along its pristine 14-kilometer stretch of beach—the longest in the Southern Hemisphere—and feel the soft sand under your feet as the waves roll in. Watch local fishermen bring in their daily catch or meet Parrie, the resident stingray who often visits the harbor. Struisbaai is not just a place; it’s an invitation to slow down and soak in the simplicity of coastal life.
