Zuidste Huisie is one of many absolutely stunning cottages you can book in the Langezandt area (as you enter Struisbaai on your left). Although they might not all have direct sea views, they are only a few steps away from the 14 km white sandy beach.

WHY WE RECOMMEND: Excellent location for exploring the area. Situated close to the beach, with private courtyard with braai area. Beautifully decorated with dishwasher and fireplace. So it is perfect for winter time as well. Keeping in mind that the South African winters has some of the most beautiful days of the year.

This is the place to stop. A very nice restaurant and a fabulous shop for those special gifts or souvenirs. We can really recommend this as the place to stop while in the area.

TRAVEL TIP: As there are no public transport between Cape Town International Airport and Struisbaai / L’Agulhas, you will be taking a roadtrip. On your way from Cape Town to Struisbaai, you’ll find many great farmstalls, like Peregrine Farm Stall in Elgin. Definitely worth a stop. If you’ll be staying in a self-catering option, this is the place to buy something for dinner or lunch, while you enjoy breakfast on your way.
