It's not all just about the ski slopes...

St Johann is situated on the northern slopes of the Kitzbühel Horn mountain and offers fabulous skiing holidays in Austria. It is a popular ski destination for many of the rich and famous. The 1,604-metre Harschbichl is the highest point in the ski resort.

On snow ski days you can also enjoy a selection of rustic and top-class restaurants and mountain huts, including the Angerer Alm, the oldest mountain hut on top of the Kitzbüheler Horn Mountain. The snowman Valle provides entertainment for children

While high up in the mountains, the skiing areas still offer fun in the snow come Springtime (March, April, and May) sees the valleys below already starting to blossom, inviting visitors to pleasant walks and bicycle tours. Spring is a beautiful time to visit, but so is every other month. Winter time for the snow and summer for the lush green surroundings. Fall has its very own beauty. Pretty much any time of the year is the best time to visit.

Why do we love going in Spring? You can still get in the last ski runs for the season while you might be fortunate enough to see fields of wild crocus flowers and beautiful cherry tree blossoms in April. Let’s face it, the Tiroler Oberland area is stunning and definitely worth a visit.
