Not even an hour after settling in, I wandered toward the Drava River and was greeted by something I never expected: dozens of elegant white swans gliding silently through the water. I stood there, stunned. I’d seen swans before, sure—but not like this. There were so many, moving with such graceful unity that I forgot where I was. Locals strolled by like it was the most normal thing, and maybe it is for them—but for me, it was magical. That moment set the tone for my entire stay.
