I am not quite sure why this recipe is called the “Irish Cream Liqueur”, as you can use any Whisky or Brandy that you like.  However, it is easy to make and can be a great gift for someone on Father’s Day or at Christmas.  Or impress your friends at your next home celebration by casually mentioning you made the liqueur yourself…  🙂

How to make your own Liqueur

You will need:

Sterilized glass bottle (This recipe makes about 1 Litre)

  • 3 Beaten Eggs
  • 175 ml Condensed Milk
  • 50 ml of Good Quality Coffee (your favorite brand)
  • 300 ml Single Cream
  • 450 ml  Whisky or Brandy

How To Make Your Own Liqueur:

  • Mix all the ingredients together until they are well blended. 
  • Strain the mixture through a sieve into a bowl.
  • Pour the liqueur into the sterilized glass bottle and store it in the fridge.
